Exterior Features

The Wrangler offers a standard Sunrider soft top. You can choose the available Freedom hardtop or the Sky One-Touch power top. These tops combine with removable doors and a fold-down windshield. This way, you can experience open-air while on road trips around Fredonia, NY.

Interior Features

Performance

All Wrangler models sport a standard 3.6-liter V6 that generates 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with the eTorque hybrid system that offers better fuel economy. Jeep offers the V6 with either an eight-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.

You can have an optional 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. If you pick the four-door model, you can have it in a 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine that generates 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. These two optional engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Better still, the Wrangler Rubicon comes with an even more powerful engine, a 6.4-liter V8 that produces 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. It mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

New to the Wrangler model lineup is the Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid. The model combines two electric motors with a four-cylinder engine. Further, Jeep adds a 27 kWh hybrid battery under the rear seats.  According to Jeep, the 4xe can generate 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Jeep only offers the 4xe powertrain in the four-door Wrangler.

Trim Levels

You can have the two-door model in three trim levels:

• Sport
 
• Sport S
• Rubicon

The four-door trim is available in one trim, the Sahara. Some sub-trims build off the Sahara, including the Willys and Altitude. In the two-door trims, the sub-trims are available as packages. The Sport trim doesn't offer much in terms of luxury. You can add some features to the Sport through the Willys Sport package. The package brings black-painted wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and all-weather floor mats.

The Sport S adds a host of comfort features to the base model, such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Wrangler Sahara comes as a four-door model only and has a host of advanced tech features. Rubicon and Rubicon 392 are off-road models to take on the trails of Hamburg, NY.
